01 — Overview
A sachet — also known as a sample bag or trial pack pouch — is a small-format flexible packaging unit designed for single-use or sample quantities of hygiene, personal care or medical products. Tansox manufactures custom sachets and sample bags in print runs of 10,000+ units, from 30mm × 50mm upward, with foil and film structures suited to hygiene, personal care and medical applications. The same centre back-seal construction also scales up into larger pillow bags and lay flat pouches — a simple, cost-efficient format for higher-volume hygiene and medical packaging on the same production line.

Every variant ships from the same Quanzhou facility, with shared tooling, shared QA and a single project manager from artwork to FOB.
All four edges sealed — maximum barrier integrity. Used for individually wrapped sanitary pads and medical items.
Narrow elongated format for liquid and gel sachets. Used for hand sanitiser, lotion and medical fluid samples.
Centre back-seal format that inflates into a pillow shape when filled, or lies flat for medical devices and compressed items. Available from sample-sachet size up to full 400 × 600 mm bags.
3 or 4 side seal with pre-cut tear notch for easy opening. Standard on hygiene sample packs and medical sachets.
Slightly larger flat format for multi-unit or multi-use sample packaging. Available with zipper.

Questions buyers ask before quote.
Tansox can produce sachets from 30mm × 50mm upward. Minimum practical size depends on the fill method (liquid, gel or solid) and the sealing equipment. For very small sachets (under 50mm × 80mm) confirm feasibility with the sales team when requesting a sample.
Yes. Tansox prints sachets using flexographic and gravure printing, up to 12 colours, with Pantone colour matching. For very small sachets, the print area is limited by the format — our pre-press team will advise on artwork sizing and minimum text heights during the proofing stage.
Tansox's standard MOQ for custom-printed sachets is 10,000 units per SKU. Due to the small format, sachets are typically produced in higher unit quantities per production run. Unprinted stock sachets are available from 5,000 units. Confirm with the sales team for specific size and structure requirements.
They share the same centre back-seal construction, just at different scales. A sachet is a small single-use or sample-size pack (30–150mm wide); a pillow bag or lay flat bag is the same format scaled up to 400 × 600mm for full-size hygiene, medical and personal care products.
