Custom flexible packaging with spot UV finish — high-gloss lacquer on defined areas, in-house application, FOB Xiamen.
Spot UV applies a clear UV-cured lacquer to defined areas of flexible packaging, creating a high-gloss finish that contrasts sharply against the surrounding matte surface. The gloss-on-matte effect draws the eye to logos, brand marks and graphic details — making it one of the most effective premium finishing techniques for hygiene and personal care packaging.
Spot UV finish is applied in-house at our Quanzhou facility across all major flexible packaging formats, with shared QA and a single project manager from artwork to FOB.

Spot UV applies a clear UV-cured lacquer to specific areas of flexible packaging — logos, brand marks and graphic accents — creating a high-gloss finish that contrasts against the surrounding matte base. It is applied in-house at Tansox's Quanzhou facility and is available on stand-up pouches, flat bottom bags, zipper bags and more.
Spot UV works best on matte laminate or matte OPP base substrates where the gloss-on-matte contrast is most visible. It can also be applied to BOPP and PET. A matte base film is strongly recommended to maximise the visual impact of the spot UV finish.
Yes — spot UV and hot stamp are one of the most popular finish combinations in premium hygiene packaging. Spot UV provides gloss contrast on the matte base while hot stamp adds metallic foil on key brand elements. Confirm your combination at the pre-production stage.
