Certified industrially compostable. The gold standard for EN 13432 / ASTM D6400 compliance. Clear or matte finish.
Certified compostable flexible packaging for hygiene brands. Industrial and home compostable options, custom print, FOB Xiamen.
Compostable packaging is a certified subset of biodegradable packaging — it must break down within a defined timeframe (typically 90–180 days) under specified conditions, leaving no toxic residue. Tansox manufactures compostable flexible packaging certified to EN 13432, ASTM D6400 and OK Compost (TÜV Austria), giving hygiene and personal care brands the documented credentials required by retailers and procurement teams globally.
Compostability is more than a claim. It depends on certified materials, defined composting conditions and documented proof for procurement teams.
Industrial compostability standards define breakdown time, disintegration and residue requirements so brands can make defensible end-of-life claims.
Demand is being pushed by retailer sustainability policies, EPR regulation and consumers asking for packaging with a clearer end-of-life pathway.
Certified structures give buyers a recognised benchmark rather than relying on vague biodegradable or eco-friendly packaging claims.
Each structure trades barrier, clarity, stiffness and composting pathway differently. Tell us your format and shelf-life target — we'll recommend the right one.

Established ~1975 in Quanzhou, Fujian. We've evolved from conventional laminates to certified sustainable structures — the production know-how transfers, the substrate doesn't.
Active quality management system covering all flexible packaging output. Every production lot ships with COA and supporting declarations for the selected sustainable structure.
Three Incoterms, two ports, one consolidated container per customer. Sustainable orders ship with the same lead times and freight options as our conventional line.
Biodegradable means a material will eventually break down through microbial action — but there is no defined timeframe or end condition. Compostable is a certified, regulated subset: packaging must break down within 90–180 days under specified industrial or home compost conditions, leaving no toxic residue or microplastics. EN 13432, ASTM D6400 and OK Compost (TÜV Austria) are the certifications that prove compostability.
Yes, with the right structure selection. PLA-based and kraft + PLA laminates offer the barrier performance required for hygiene products like sanitary pads, wet wipes and baby care items. Some compostable structures have lower moisture and oxygen barrier than conventional foil laminates — our application engineers will specify the right structure based on your product's fill weight and shelf-life requirements.
Tansox supplies compostable structures certified to EN 13432 (European industrial compostability), ASTM D6400 (US compostability) and TÜV Austria OK Compost Industrial and Home marks. Specific certifications depend on the material selected. Our EACC-certified quality management system ensures every production lot ships with a Certificate of Conformity referencing the relevant compostability standards.
Fill in the basics — our application engineers will specify the right compostable structure and have an FOB quote back within one business day.
